Contact Whirled Service
Two ways to reach us, and no third. Call the number in the header and speak to someone about the machine, or open the booking page and pick a day yourself. Either way, the more you can say about the appliance and what it is doing, the better prepared the visit is.
Phone
Answered 24/7. Work carried out seven days, 7:00 am – 8:00 pm.
Worth having ready
- Have the brand, the appliance type and the model number to hand if you can find it. On laundry it is usually on the door frame or the back panel.
- Describe the symptom rather than the diagnosis. A dryer that runs cold and one that shuts off hot are different visits with different parts.
- Calls are taken seven days a week, and 26 San Diego neighbourhoods are on the regular route. If yours is not listed on the areas page, ask on the phone.
The basics
- Call-out
- $89 flat, waived when the repair is approved

Loft with the microwave built into a brick surround, so getting it down was awkward. He took his time and did not chip anything. A failed door switch was the fault, replaced, and back up on its brackets.

Getting a dryer up a narrow beach-house stairwell is never fun and he managed it without scraping the walls. The drum glides had worn through to bare metal, which was the grinding we had been hearing.

Water kept collecting under the crisper drawers. The drain tube was blocked with sludge. He cleared it and fitted the little wick clip that stops it happening again. It took two trips, as the first slot fell through.

Water sat in the bottom after every cycle in our condo. A piece of broken glass had jammed the drain pump. He cleared it, tested the check valve, and cleaned the sump out while the machine was open.

Ours smelled sour and left water sitting in the door boot. He cleaned out the drain trap, found a bra wire lodged in the filter housing, and showed me where the seal was holding water after each load.

Loft with the vent running out through old brickwork, and drying was taking hours. He found the exterior flap seized and a bird nest behind it, cleared the whole run, and times went back to normal.
