Privacy policy
This is short for a good reason: almost nothing here gathers information about you in the first place.
The website side
Look around all you like — there is nowhere on these pages to type anything. No enquiry box, no mailing list, no login. The hosting server keeps the usual access log every server keeps: which URL was asked for, at what moment, and by which browser. Nobody reads it looking for individuals and it is not tied to a person.
The telephone side
Booking a repair is different, because a technician has to arrive somewhere. For that we take a first name, the address, a number to call back on, and a description of what the appliance is doing wrong. It is held while the job is open and afterwards for as long as the work is being stood behind. It is never sold, rented, or handed to anybody wanting to advertise at you.
The scheduling page
Wherever this site says "book", the link goes off to a scheduling tool that is not ours. From the moment you land there, that tool's own privacy terms apply instead of this page.
Tracking
None of the advertising kind. Nothing follows a visitor from here to another website. Any figures we look at are totals — how many people opened a neighbourhood page last month, not which people.
Your rights in California
Residents can ask what is on file about them and ask for it to be erased. Ring the number at the top of this site and say which job it relates to; once we can match it to a record, that record goes.
Revisions
Amendments get a new date at the head of this page. There is no separate notification and no version history to hunt through.
